Sir Peter Blake signing specially designed bottle for Gillian Henderson

Thursday 22 July 600 people gathered at Christies last night for a celebration of Peter Blake’s printmaking achievements. The works featured pieces from 1948 to the present day, with some stunning new pieces Diamond Dust Marilyn (Paul Stolper) and I Love You (CCA Galleries). Drinking Champagne and mingling with Peter and his lovely wife included Kate Moss, Harry Hill and our very own Gillian Henderson. There were many more collectors and gallery owners, such as artrepublic and Michael Lieberman. 

Peter was signing books and his specificially designed labelled bottles of wine with all proceeds going to his chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation.

For the first time, works from his main publishers including CCA galleries, Paul Stolper, Gresham studios, Alan Cristea, Coriander Studio and Waddington Graphics were on display together.
